Known as the “Vanilla Lily” from the smell of their flowers, these otherwise inconspicuous grass-like plants will suddenly spatter their wallum heath neighbourhood with shades of pink in spring.

While not a rare plant, their home on flat coastal plains has seen much of their habitat lost to urban development.
