Fast-growing tree developing a broad canopy and buttress roots.  Edible red fruits shaped like small pears sprout in clusters from the trunk and larger branches.  An ideal creek-bank stabilizer or specimen tree for larger gardens.  Can be deciduous in prolonged dry weather.
