TREE TO 8 METRES TALL, ( USUALLY SHORTER)Open habit, glossy aromatic foliage, tiny scented white flowers in Summer & clusters of purplish edible sweet juicy fruit. Hardy in well drained frost free position. Host plant to Swallowtail butterflies. Sometimes flowers & fruits at the same time
