HERB TO 30CM TALLUncommon perennial grass-like plant with fine grey-green leaves & spectacular purple flowers with fringed petals on stems to 60cm long in spring & summer. Develops numerous white tubers which are edible raw, but harvesting may kill the plant. Suitable for pots and garden beds.
