SHRUB TO 1 METRES TALLLow, bushy shrub with deeply lobed leaves & prolific deep pink/red Hibiscus flowers from spring to autumn. The plant often dies back to its roots over winter then re-shoots in spring. The tuberous roots are edible after preparation, and musk oil can be distilled from the seeds.
