SHRUB OR SMALL TREE 3 TO 8 METRES TALLFast growing, openly branched tree with glossy leaves to 20cm long. Sprays of tiny perfumed greenish- yellow flowers in spring followed by decorative clusters of 1cm purple-black berries. Can be kept as an indoor plant. A useful edge/pioneer species for rainforest restoration.
