TREE TO 6 METRES TALLA hardy, fast growing pioneer tree bearing masses of yellow flower spikes in early Spring. Flowers attract bees, birds, Fiery Jewel & Common Imperial Blue butterflies. Seed pod has a spicy aroma when crushed. Durable timber can be used for tool handles.
