HERB TO 1.5 METRES TALLBushy or spreading herb, foliage downy underneath, long slender erect spikes with many tiny green flowers. Young foliage is bush tucker and edible if boiled. Dominant plant on off-shore islands. Salt spray tolerant. Nice in rockeries.
