SHRUB TO 3 METRES TALLOpenly branched shrub with grey-green ‘foliage’ of wiry, leafless stems. There are separate male & female plants; the females bear small fuzzy red flowers followed by woody seed cones. Quite hardy once established. Occurs naturally on the Sunshine Coast where it is threatened by urbanization.
