TREE TO 40 METRES TALL, USUALLY BUTTRESSED.Straight trunk, buttressed base. Dark green foliage with pale bronze underside. Small creamy bell-like flowers in Winter, & brown fruit in Summer. Good timber tree, attractive park tree when in flower. Bird nesting site & bats hunt in the foliage.
