TREE TO 10 METRES TALLSlender, conical tree with dense green foliage and tough, dark bark. Small globular seed cones persist on the tree for many months and are eaten by cockatoos & parrots. Small birds shelter amongst the foliage. The timber is termite resistant. Tolerates drought, frost & poor soils, but is sensitive to fire. Suitable as screen or formal feature tree.
