“Velvet Hop Bush”
SHRUB 1 TO 1.5 METRES TALLUpright, open shrub with leaves divided into up to 24 small, rounded, velvety leaflets. Tiny flowers form in spring on separate male & female plants. Densely hairy, pink-orange seed capsules follow on the female plants. Very rare, found only on Mt Tibrogargan and Wildhorse Mtn.
