TREE 2 TO 4 METERS TALLHardy, upright & bushy shrub with narrow, glossy foliage. Tiny wind-pollinated flowers in spring are followed by bright pink/red papery seed pods that attract birds. The leaves were used in bush medicine to treat tooth-ache, cuts & stings.
Responds well to pruning.
