TREE FROM 30 TO 40 METRES TALLLarge, fast-growing, semi-deciduous tree with bright green foliage. Groups of large white & purple flowers in spring/summer followed by striking purple fruit that attracts Wompoo Fruit Doves. Logged heavily in the 19th & 20th centuries for its desirable timber, now uncommon in the wild.
