CLUMP FORMING RUSH 2 TO 3 METRES TALLPerennial, rhizomatous, brilliant grey-green rigid stems bearing brown nuts. Forms clumps in water up to 1.5m deep. Provides habitat and food for waterbirds. Edible underground stems.
