PALM FROM 10 TO 25 METRES TALLSingle grey trunk, shiny green, drooping, fan shaped leaves to 1. 8 metres across. Creamy white flowers & black fruit attracts birds & butterflies. The growing bud atop the trunk is edible but removing it kills the plant. Withstands fire. Good in a pot!
