SHRUB TO 50cm TALLFast growing, upright or sprawling woody herb with broad velvety leaves that are aromatic when crushed. Bright, pale purple flowers are held in spikes to 20cm long in spring & summer & attract native bees. Hardy once established, can recover from mild drought but is frost tender. Responds well to pruning. Rare, only found in a few locations near Goodna, Springfield & Ormeau, where it grows on shaded rocky outcrops.
