TREE 8 TO 20 METRES TALLReliable, hardy bushy tree, dark green foliage to 7 cm long , white flowers in Summer & edible pinkish mauve fruit ripe in May to July makes tasty jam. Host to Common Red & Eastern flat butterflies.
