SEDGE TO 50cm HIGHSmall, creeping sedge that thrives in shallow water & boggy soils. Forms dense clumps of fine, upright stems that are topped with bristly straw to red-brown flower spikes to 2cm long in spring & summer. Helps stabilize soil & can be used in waste-water treatment.
