Tree 3 to 8m TallSmall tree with smooth bark and drooping grey-green foliage. Large square flower buds with red caps open into prolific bright yellow flowers to 5cm wide in summer & autumn. Responds well to pruning; grows best on alkaline soils. Native to WA.
